Yes, with a lower-strength biocide and very gentle rinse. We don't pressure wash lime ever.

Will it kill the algae or just hide it?

Kill, not hide. The biocide breaks down the cell wall so what's left dies and weathers off — that's why the finish keeps improving over the following weeks.

Will the render lose any of its colour?

No. Softwash lifts the biological staining only — the pigment is bonded into the render or the painted finish and isn't affected.

Is softwash safe on K-Rend and silicone render?

Yes — and in fact softwash is the manufacturer-recommended approach. We use a controlled biocide and a low-volume rinse so the silicone film stays intact.

Can you do exposed coastal elevations?

Yes — they actually benefit most from a regular softwash because salt and algae compound on one another.
