What sits in the texture
The gaps between stones trap airborne dirt, spores and moisture. Once growth establishes in those gaps it is shaded and protected, which is why pebbledash holds a green or grey cast even after rain has washed the exposed faces.
Why pressure loses stones
The stones are bedded in a mortar layer that softens as it weathers. High pressure detaches them, and once a patch has lost its dash it cannot be matched without redashing that elevation. Low-pressure chemical cleaning avoids that entirely.
What a realistic result looks like
Tone evens out and the wall lightens across the whole elevation. Where a previous repair used a different stone or mortar, that patch will still read differently once clean, because the difference was always there under the growth.

- Not with a low-pressure approach. Loss happens when pebbledash is jet washed.

- Yes, though a failing paint film may lift where it has already lost adhesion. We will point that out before starting.
