A solar array changes a roof job in three ways: access routes are restricted, debris collects along the panel edges, and there is expensive equipment to work around.
Access changes
Walking routes on the covering are narrower and the array cannot be leant on. That usually means more reach work from the ground and, occasionally, a tower.

Debris at the panel edge
Panels create a lip that catches leaves and moss, and the run-off concentrates at their lower edge, which is often where the tile below stays greenest.
What we will not do
We do not lift, unclip or work under panels, and we do not use high pressure near array fixings. Anything requiring the array to be touched is for the installer.

- We mask and rinse around arrays, and we avoid running product across panel glass.
- Do panels make gutters block faster?
- Often, yes - they funnel debris to specific points along the run.
