PL15: farmland edge, long lanes and the limit of our radius

PL15 is the far boundary. Scattered farming hamlets, painted stone and render, slate roofs, and properties reached down a good deal of single-track lane. We cover the part of it that falls inside our radius and we are straight with you about the part that does not.

PL15 covers 5 places we work in, 18.4 to 24 miles from our base at 58 Reddington Road, Plymouth (Devon and Cornwall, West Devon Borough Council) - all inside our 20-mile radius of Plymouth.

Questions we get asked in PL15

Am I inside your area?
Send the postcode. Some of PL15 is inside our 20-mile radius and some is not, and we will just tell you which.
Do you clean barns and outbuildings?
Domestic outbuildings, yes. Large agricultural units are usually better handled by a specialist.
Can you get a van down a narrow lane?
Usually, if there is somewhere to turn. Let us know and we will plan for it.

Farm buildings are not house-cleaning jobs

Agricultural soiling is different: it is organic, it is thick, and it usually sits on profiled sheet or block rather than render. Where we take that work on we say so clearly, and where a job is really a specialist agricultural clean we will tell you that instead of guessing.

Lane access and turning space

Half the properties here are down a lane with one passing place and a gate at the end. Knowing in advance whether the van can turn saves an hour on the day, so we always ask.

Honest coverage at the edge

Parts of PL15 fall outside twenty miles from our base. If yours does, we will say so rather than quoting and then adding travel. Where you are inside the line, you are treated exactly like any other job.

Reached via local lanes off A30. Recorded wall finishes: painted render, stone, painted stone. Roof coverings: slate, natural slate.
