Outbuildings get cleaned last and neglected longest, which is why a tidy house often sits next to a green garage roof that drags the whole plot down.
Roofs and sheeting
Corrugated and profiled roofs hold moss along every trough. Cleaning them is straightforward; on very old fibre sheeting we will advise caution and may decline high-pressure work entirely.
This guide sits under our Roof Cleaning work, covering 20-mile radius of Plymouth.
Gutters that go nowhere
Outbuilding gutters often discharge onto the ground beside a wall. Clearing them helps, but where the discharge is the problem, we will say so.
When to replace instead
If a shed roof felt is perished or a fibre sheet is cracked, cleaning is money you will not get back. We would rather tell you than take the booking.
Questions we get on this
- Do you clean asbestos-cement sheeting?
- We do not disturb suspected asbestos materials. That is specialist work and we will refer you.
- Can outbuildings be added to a house clean?
- Yes and it is cheaper in the same visit.
- Will a green shed roof come clean?
- Usually, if the covering is sound.
