Borders and planting
Planting close to the wall is sheeted or pre-wetted so run-off dilutes and drains rather than concentrating at the roots. Sensitive specimens get moved where they can be.

Ponds and watercourses
Ponds are covered and run-off is directed away entirely. Where a property drains to a watercourse we plan the discharge route before starting - it is not optional.
Pets and children
