End-of-tenancy exterior clean for a rental property
Void periods are short, and the outside of a rental is usually the part nobody has touched for the whole tenancy. A single visit between tenants covers the surfaces that make a property look cared for on a viewing.
Ask us about this
Monday to Saturday, 8am – 7pm
- Glass, front path and bin store as the minimum void visit
- Gutter clear once a year regardless of tenancy changes
- Keep dated photos with the inventory
What matters on a rental viewing
Prospective tenants notice glass, the front path and the bin area long before they look at render. Those three are quick, cheap and change the impression of the whole property. Roof and wall work is worth doing on a longer cycle rather than every void.
Keeping a paper trail
Photographs of the exterior at check-out and after cleaning give you a dated record of condition. That is useful when a deposit discussion involves outside space, damaged paving or a garden that was left to grow into gutters.
Fitting the work into a void
Voids are often a week or two. Exterior work is weather-dependent but rarely needs access to the inside, so it can run while flooring, decorating or safety checks happen indoors.
Common questions
- Do you need access to the property?
- No. An outside tap helps but we can carry water. Keys are not required for exterior work.
- Can you invoice per property?
- Yes, or grouped across several addresses if you prefer one invoice.
- How quickly can you fit a void in?
- Exterior-only jobs are short, so they usually slot into an existing round in the same postcode within days.
